With great pleasure, we issue this call to the 2018 Western Region Convention! This year’s convention will be held in the magnificent “mile-high city” at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center, located at 7800 E Tufts Ave, Denver, CO 80237.
Our theme this year will be "Better Men, Better Alphas, Better Brotherhood." The Western Region Leadership Team is committed to ensuring this year’s Western Region Convention will not only benefit you as a Brother of Alpha Phi Alpha, but also as a man to help us collectively build a better brotherhood. This convention will provide programming with a holistic view toward improving the professional, personal and fraternal well-being of all brothers, thereby improving our overall ability to be the greatest voice on issues affecting the communities we serve.
While all Collegiate and Alumni chapters are expected to register, at a minimum, their full delegate strength (not inclusive of any Western Region Executive Officers), all chapters should check with their respective District Directors for their target registration numbers. Lastly, a hosted reception for all Western Region officers, corporate sponsors and convention special guests will be held on Wednesday evening. All Western Region Officers are asked to indicate their ability to attend at the time of registration.
Additionally, new social opportunities available at this Western Region Convention will include; a full Ladies track of activities with registration; special recognition for our 25-year and 50-year brothers; an inaugural region-wide gaming tournament featuring Bid-whist, Spades & Dominos; a brotherhood smoke; and much, much more.
